Breastfeeding Support Services | Lactation Consulting
“Telling mothers what they “should” or “shouldn’t” isn’t me. It’s not my story. My intent is to listen to the needs of the mother and baby, so we may find a comfortable plan that feels right and works.”
The initial breastfeeding support consultation usually runs 1-2+ hours in the comfort of your own home. An in-depth pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding history and breast health will be taken, a comprehensive, thorough assessment will be done and a care plan designed to meet your individual needs and desires. Weight checks, oral assessment, growth chart plot, etc. Phone/email follow up, or in- person follow up appointment (30 minute no charge) for initial breastfeeding concern is included and encouraged. Appointments will take place in the comfort of your own home.* $185.00
In general, breastfeeding support is best done in person, where a visual assessment can be done. However, at times, phone/email support may suffice. $50.00/hr

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, check or credit card via Paypal. I believe all mothers deserve compassionate lactation care and financial situations will not be a barrier to consultation. Please contact me for payment plans, sliding scale options, trade or more. I am open to creative solutions!
After your visit, you will be provided with a detailed, coded receipt that you may submit to your insurance company. While I do not bill insurance on your behalf, I do try to make sure you have all the necessary paperwork you need to submit for reimbursement. Although many insurance companies do cover lactation care, I can not guarantee my services will be covered by your company. Some families also choose to use funds from their pre-tax medical spending accounts to cover lactation services. Please check with your plan or account provider to see what options you may have.
